From Lyman Point to the Coolidge Hotel, North Main to Maple Street, Pam’s Post to the Old Post, White River Junction is worth looking at. This summer, we’re inviting photographers of all skill levels to show us what they see: the light, the details, the people, the history.

One theme each month. Three winners each month. All celebrating the spirit of the Junction.

May — In Bloom: Buds and petals, short sleeves, and rainy mornings. Let’s celebrate the end of Mud Season.

• Prizes: 1st Place: Ticket to Northern Stage’s 2026/2027 Season. Runners Up: Choice of Post Gift Bag, Gift Card to Putnam’s Vinyard or Tip Top Pottery.

June —Splashes of Color: Warm bricks, green grass, murals, and picnics in the park. Capture the most vibrant parts of our Downtown.

July —  Golden Hours: Long evenings, outdoor music, light in store windows, late dinners. Show us WRJ at its most golden.

August — Best Friends (And Man’s Best Friend): Community, conversations, dogs in the park. Show us the connections you make.

Submit up to 5 photos per month via the Google Form above! Photos may be inside or outside and of any subject. The only requirement is that they somehow showcase the character of White River Junction. Submissions are accepted throughout the month. The drawing takes place on the first Monday of the following month, and you will be notified via email. Each month, a first place winner will be selected, along with up to ~3 runners up. 

By entering this contest, you grant the Hartford Area Chamber of Commerce, Vermont Travel & Tourism, and the Downtown WRJ Downtown Business Association and its members a non-exclusive, irrevocable, perpetual right to use your submitted photos for promotional and commercial purposes. Credit will be provided when possible.
